Congratulations to Bằng Kiều & Phương Trinh

Bằng Kiều and his wife Phương Trinh just added another bundle of joy to their family, a little boy they named Kenzi Bằng Chương. Little Kenzi was born on June 30th, he weighed in at 8 pounds 7 oz and measured 21 inches. Pictures of the cutie with his father and two older brothers Beckam Bằng Phương (8) and Colin Bằng Anh (4) are below.

Jennifer Phạm and Quang Dũng Need To Ignore Each Other

It's strange that Jennifer Phạm and Quang Dũng were able to be tight-lipped enough about the disintegration of their short marriage for a while then suddenly both are out for blood. Miss Phạm was apparently quoted saying that she "need a strong shoulder for her and her son to lean on", Quang Dũng fired back with "he's still here to take care of his son". He also let loose that his ex-wife current squeeze (is? was?) a good friend of his (drama!). Anyway, for their son's sake both of them need to ignore and stop taking shots at each other in interviews. Normally this would be fun to watch two famous exes going at it in the public arena except there is a kid involved who did not asked to be in the middle of all this public bickering.

Think about it Jennifer Phạm and Quang Dũng, if both of you hold your tongues right now then your son will not read about his parents badmouthed each other in public later and you two will get to keep your nice public images intact. Win-win for everyone!

Introducing my new favorite singer (and the object of my desire) Anh Tuấn. He came to America in 2001 but did not start singing professionally until 2004. I did not know about him until very recently thanks to a good friend, I have no idea why a fine singer with such a handsome face escaped my attention but I digress. Currently, his hotness can be seen on music videos produced by Blue Ocean Music and at selected shows in cities with large Vietnamese population which does not include where I live *pout*.

Today is Friday and because it could be our last day on earth ;) please enjoy a nicely done music video of Anh Tuấn performed Bài Không Tên Số 7 by Vũ Thành An, which happens to be one of favorite songs. I watched it and am having lustful thoughts about him. Marry me Anh Tuấn? ;)

This Music Video Is So Very 80's

I laughed out loud when I first saw this music video of the song Kiếm Đam Me performed by Tuấn Anh because it's like going back in time, the clothes and the hairstyles screamed 80's. I gave it an A for effort and campiness.

A Libelous Bomb From The Attention Hog ...

... named Hoàng Anh but before I proceed I felt that I should provide my readers a bit of background on this non-entity Hoàng Anh. Her initial claim to fame was that she was the last "Diễm" of Trịnh Công Sơn (the song writer) but that claim was debunked by his sister Trịnh Vĩnh Trinh very recently. She went on to marry model turned actor Huy Khánh, that ended in divorce then she aired all sort of her dirty laundry to the press. She is famous by association only yet she managed to get a good amount of media attention even when she is only being her bitchy self. She doesn't even live in Việt Nam anymore so she resorted to get attention by dropping libelous bombs about famous people on her facebook's wall whenever her need for attention arise, she then bask in the attention of the press when they come knocking on her door.

Now let's get back to this attention hog nasty passive-aggressive post on her facebook's wall about singer Đức Tuấn. It's a cheap shot alluding that Đức Tuấn might be gay. This is cruel because Việt Nam is still a conservative country, this could hurt his singing career. Even if he is gay (I have no idea if he is and it's none of my business anyway), it's not her place to out him publicly. Her bitchy behavior has reached a new level of nastiness.

Notice that her facebook name is Sao Việt, that is laughable because she's only a star in her deluded mind. She is also far from being "angelic" but she probably can't accept that fact either.

UPDATE with a respond from Đức Tuấn. He played it cool with a witty post, he is right that Hoàng Anh is the "dream wife" for many men, presumably Huy Khánh is not one those of men.

A Laughably Bad Rendition Of Cỏ Úa

The performance below is the definition of trying too hard. Thanh Hà and Quang Lê scrunched up their faces as if it's hurt them to sing, they overacted for a mediocre song. It's actually so bad that it's quite hilarious to watch but I still lost a little over two minutes of my life.

Fashion Disaster - Ngọc Sơn

I wish there is a better picture of this strange, open shirt ensemble worn with attitude by Ngọc Sơn. You can't really tell but he wore the patterned silk shirt with a very low cut top underneath. There are a couple more pictures that actually even more frightful than the one I posted below. I know he's always showing off his (up for debate) sculpted pecs but no one need to see that much of his chest, no one!

Please try not to stare at Ngọc Sơn.
