Mini Review - The Evolution of Thanh Hà Vol.1

I'm not sure why Thanh Hà named her new album The Evolution of Thanh Hà Vol.1 because the musical direction and songs choices did not evolve enough if at all to warrant the use of the word "evolution". The songs list is the same as most of her other albums, a handful of translated songs, some old songs, an "exclusive" song or two. The only thing new here is the arrangements which is good in a way.

I'm not sure what's going on with the cover. She wore an all black ensembles of thigh-high boots, skintight bodysuit with sheer panels and matching fingerless opera length gloves with two belts. I'm convinced that the belt she wore actually spelled d.e.s.p.e.r.a.t.i.o.n instead of her name.

Verdict - If you must have this CD, buy it on sale.

Trying Very Hard Not To Be Jealous Of Ngô Thanh Vân ...

And I failed! Normally I care very little about Ngô Thanh Vân who I think it's very lucky to have the amount of fame that she does simply because she's average in everything. She's just barely adequate as a model, singer, actress, etc... Shacked up with Johnny Trí Nguyễn a while back was definitely a shrewd move careerwise despite the nasty fallout in the court of public opinions, the disintegration of Johnny Trí Nguyễn's marriage and accusations of home wrecking but I'm not going to get into that because I am insanely jealous that she get to meet Gary Oldman, who is still the definition of sex on a stick BTW.

Should have been me next to him.

I'm still shell-shocked after seeing the unholy combination of hot pink satin romper with side skirt?, leopard print corset, not one but TWO pairs of knee socks worn with tan cowboy boots. 

This get-up was not a good idea.

Better Than The Original!

I saw this yesterday and I have to post it here. It's a hotter version of Britney Spears Hold It Against Me made by the Rein 266 and HMLA 169 helicopter squadrons. The music video below is sexier, more fun and with more attractive people than the original.
